Adaptive Racers should follow general race etiquette, such as being courteous to other participants, adhering to race rules, and communicating effectively with race officials. AWD participants should be mindful of their own spaces needs, and those of all participants during the event.
AWD participants using an adaptive aid are asked to stay to the right side on the race route when space is available, and to pass others on the left, communicating with their voice whenever possible.
