FAQ: Registration


Where and when can I register?

You can register online under the Register tab until October 10, 2016 at midnight if caps are not reached. If you are unable to register before online registration closed, you can register in person for the marathon, half or 5k at the Expo on Friday and Saturday, Hall B, Enercare Centre, 100 Princes' Blvd (only if distance caps were not reached).


I lost my confirmation email. Can you please send it again?

There is no need. You are allowed to use one piece of valid photo ID to pick up your race kit. You will need to look up your bib number BEFORE proceeding to the race kit pick up table. For complete information see the registration page.


I'm injured, can I have a refund?
I can't make it anymore, can I have my money back?
Can I transfer my entry to a friend?

How do I change my corral colour?

It is a Canada Running Series policy that no refund of entry fees will be issued nor will any transfer be made to other events. It is the responsibility of the entrant to pick up their packet from registration. Packets will not be mailed prior to or after the event. After the event has taken place T-shirts may not be available, and prior to the event are available on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

Duplicate Registrations
If you have accidentally registered yourself twice, we can refund one registration minus a service fee to cover credit card processing costs. Email with the name of the registrant and the desired change. Deadline for changes is Midnight Friday, September 23rd.

The deadline to complete participant transfers, corral changes and distance changes has passed. The participant data has been sent off for event preparation. All changes will now have to be made at the Running, Health & Fitness Expo on October 14 or 15 (only if distance caps were not reached). The Expo is located in Hall B at the Enercare Centre, 100 Princes' Blvd. The Expo hours are Friday October 14, 11:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday October 15, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Participant transfers — For participant transfers, the original person does not have to be present to complete the process. The new participant will require the original participant’s confirmation e-mail with a letter, text or e-mail giving them permission to run in their place. The new participant can first pick up the original person’s race bib and take it to the help desk to have the results transferred to their name. Please note, there is a $10 fee to complete the participant transfer.

Corral changes — For corral changes, you will first pick up your race bib and take it to the Help Desk to complete the corral change. We will provide you with a coloured sticker (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Purple) that correlates with your estimated finishing time.

Distance changes — For distance changes, you will first pick up your race bib and take it to the Help Desk to complete the change. Please note, there is a $10 fee to downgrade. The cost to upgrade will be difference in cost depending on the distance.

Below is the distance change breakdown chart for the Expo. Distance changes are available up until distance cap is reached.
